Duke University Athletic Director Joe Alleva announced today that Carl Franks has been fired. Franks had an overall record of 7-45 at Duke with this being his fifth season. Defensive Coordinator Ted Roof will serve as interim coach for the remainder of the season.
Duke is 2-5 this year, but the Blue Devils are winless in their last 29 ACC games.
