Bills Beat

Normally I would save the injury info and notes for Wednesday, but there is some news from the Bills that is too big to ignore.

- Willis McGahee has been cleared to practice tomorrow by Buffalo's team doctors. The Bills then have three weeks to decide whether to activate him or shut him down for the season. Third string tailback Joe Burns is likely not feeling real comfortable today.

- Some quick injury updates: Sammy Morris should play this week...he has been missed on special teams and in spelling Travis Henry. Did I just write that? No need to rest someone who touches the ball 15 times a game. Eric Moulds, Sam Adams, and Ron Edwards, all of whom missed Sundays game, should practice tomorrow.

What's this? A Bills fan looking south to Miami for salvation?

Oh, wait. You did this back in '83 also. Some kid named Kelly then, if I remember correctly.

Irony, irony, irony. When the Bills need saving, they look to Miami.

For some reason, I don't think the salvation train runs the other direction. :-)

Kevin P.:

Miami somehow claims credit for Jim Kelly?
That's like Houston claiming him as a native son since he played for the Gamblers for two years.

And we all know that Jim Kelly, who was born and raised in East Brady, PA currently makes his home here in Buffalo, long after his playing days have ended.

That's like Buffalo claiming Chowderhead Fred Smerlas as their own. Just cause you dropped in for coffee don't mean your names on the lease.

At least McGahee actually went to Central High, as is readily apparent when he attempts to speak english.
