Rams game notes

Bulger is making a lot of the same mistakes Warner is accused of. It took him half a game to identify blitzes.

Martz still making bad play calls. Starting with three passes - all dropped.
The defense on the field for almost twenty minutes. This Ram's defense plays its heart out. Twice now, they've kept the Rams within a touchdown in the first half when the Giants and the 49'ers could easily have scored two touchdowns a piece. Unless Martz starts running that ball with his offensive line, he's going to lose the toughness he could have from the most expensive O-line in the league.

You do not have Proehl and Hakim. If you don't change tough guy, your team won't even make the playoffs.

btw - who knew that David Carr could move like that? I feel bad for that Saints player who got juked out of his shorts.

Update: Rams steal one away from 49'ers. Cedric Wilson afraid to show his face in San Fran. All he had to do was fall down, and San Fran had the game. He doesn't, time runs out, and St Louis capitalizes.

On a good note for Rams fans, the second half showed Mike Martz coming to his senses and the emergence of a 3rd wideout to replace McDonald. Dane Looker, of the World Bowl, made some good catches including a touchdown. All bad news for the rest of the Ram's opponents this season.
