My Jaw's Still Hanging Open

Wow.
I couldn't believe the Patriots could put Lawyer Milloy behind them, but if this game is any indication (against the Eagles, no less), then it may very well be that the Patriots are finally starting to brush the distraction (though I had thought it would be WAY more than a distraction) aside. Tom Brady was looking much, much better this time around, with no interceptions and a halfway-decent 255 yards (about 60% receptions)... and in hostile Philly, no less.
All in all, it was a pleasant distraction from the heart-rending the Bosox are giving me, trying not so valiantly to cling to a wild card spot in the AL.
Of course, it's a long season... the Pats could disappoint me, or they could thrill me like they had a couple years back. We New England-type sports fans are used to tremendous disappointment.
