Mackovic Fired at Arizona? (Wizbang Sports)

Update: Cat Tracks has issued a retraction and will be posting more later.

Some reports and rumors indicate that Arizona Coach John Mackovic has been fired and that Defensive Coordinator Mike Hankowitz will be coaching tonight's game against TCU. The University has not confirmed anything at this point. Former Washington State and Alabama coach Mike Price was reportedly in Tucson this week. He was hired at WSU by Arizona AD Livengood and would reportedly serve as a consultant for Arizona if the rumors are true.

According to CatTracks.net, The proverbial straw that broke the camel's back would seem to be an incident involving a team meal yesterday.
