Hansen: UA Football has hit rockbottom (Wizbang Sports)

When I was in college, spending my time working for first the student paper, and then the larger two daily papers in Tucson, two notable facts could be found as a constant in regards to UA Sports

That Lute Olsen's brusque, rude and demeaning manner towards the general public would be happily glazed over every time he shouted down a reporter who wrote something negative about the team.

And that the two papers' columnists, Greg Hansen for the AZ Daily Star and Corky Simpson for the Tucson Citizen, would be counted out to be the biggest homers imaginable, finding every silver lining in the biggest pile of steaming bull left overs.

Today, Hansen has declared that UA Football has officially hit rock bottom. That should give some inkling to how far off the deep end the Wildcats have fallen.
