This weekend's college games in Michigan

Today is the start of Big Ten football here in the Wolverine state (hey, it's not my fault that UofM picked the state animal as their mascot ;) ). So here's the lowdown on today's games:

Central Michigan University at Michigan (4)

Western Michigan University at Michigan State

Traditionally MAC teams don't fare well against the Big Ten, but occassionally they have pulled off an upset or two. I don't expect that with UofM, but MSU could be surprised. Just a hunch on my part.

#4 ranked Michigan looks good this year, and has a favorable schedule. They play Notre Dame and OSU at home, and skip Penn State and Wisconsin. MSU doesn't fare so well, the last half of their season is rough as they are schedule to play 5 bowl contenders - Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Penn State.
