I don't know who Vinnie Lyer is, but he is one smart dude. His AFC East preview says the Bills will take the division. And best of all, he predicts the usual collapse by the Dolphins who always, always, always blow it in December.
But it'll be different this year, right?

You aren't a Jets fan are you? While it's true that the Dolphins always blow it in December, history doesn't always repeat itself. Im not saying it will be different this year, Im just saying "We'll see."

Of course there are no guarantees of a repeat...if past record guaranteed future performance then Tampa Bay never would have won a Superbowl.
Miami is 31-17 in the three seasons under Wannstedt but is 7-7 in December. Is it conditioning, cold weather, bad karma? I don't know, but after three years we have a trend.
