Kournikova quits reporter gig (Wizbang Sports)

In a move that is bound to break the hearts of Tennis fans everywhere, "Reporter" Anna Kournikova quit her US Open job today.

I think this quote about sums up her entire effort

"It's her first time on TV and she's working hard," said USA Network spokesman Tom Caraccioli, when asked about Kournikova's performance.

It's that like telling someone who asks, "Do you think I'm pretty" well, you sure are a nice person.

Other outlets like the NY Post were less than flattering of her appearances on USA.

Perhaps this is the begining of the end to the media world's fascination with the highly paid but seemingly subpar tennis talent.
