Alan Nero, Juan Gonzalez�s agent, isn�t happy with how the Rangers have handled his client�s injury situation.

In a news release sent out Friday afternoon, Nero called the Rangers� conduct �reprehensible� and said, �It remains Juan's hope to get back in the lineup before the end of this season.�

"For the club to publicly call into question Juan's integrity, and his desire to play, is the worst sort of character assassination," Nero said. "I would have expected better from [General Manager] John Hart and the Texas Rangers."
