I can cover anything Maple Leaf-wise when the season starts...until then there really isn't much news...but I had to jump on the bandwagon while it was still fresh.

The plan is to roll out more sports as time goes on. With football season almost here, that was a good place to start.

Being from Detroit of course I hope the Wings do well, especially since Hasek is back. I need to start paying attention to other teams to see what we are up against. I'm sure Colorado will still be a major player, as will Dallas. Can the Mighty Ducks repeat their Cinderella season? Will San Jose be a player now that they have Sergi Federov?

I think the Ducks will do well again. It's the way the NHL is set up concerning expansion teams. They've just sat back and amassed players over the years and now they're a damn good team. It was a feel-good story last year but this year people will just admit they're good.
The feel bad story of the year is Curtis Joseph. He's just being thrown around like a ragdoll now that Hasek is back.

I personally don't think any teams will be doing any good this year, because it is locked out. I am so pissed off at the nhlpa right now, that I cannot even see straight
