I was not amused by what I saw on my tv this morning, Sat. May 29, where the show "caught ya"
was pulling a so-called joke on several hunters who were hunting waterfowl. The joke being that the game warden had confiscated weapons and pick up trucks for a trumped up violation. The planting of contraband on one of the hunters....it was all very upsetting to me just watching it. Game wardens are to be law enforcers, not pranksters. The anti-hunting organizations already get a more active voice at game commission meetings than they should. The hunters I hunt with are all upstanding citizens with more concern for the environment and conservation than the wackos from peta, the Sierra Club or the Friends of the Animals.
I hope that will be the last time I ever see a stunt like that and I would like to see the game warden and the one hunter who were "IN on it" lose their rights to hunt or work for the government as a warden. As for ESPN, I hope you think hard about what you air on TV. The show made me sick.
