Bills Injury Update

The Bills sustained injuries to three key players during Saturdays game versus the Rams. After todays practice we have a clearer view of the ramifications:

Travis Henry: Henry twisted his foot during the first quarter and did not return. He had a boot on as he watched todays practice from the comforts of his golf cart. Head coach Gregg Williams says Henry could return to practice tomorrow or Wednesday. Don't count on it. No way he sees action in Thursdays preseason game, so why work him Wednesday? I'm sure the staff will announce he will get a "few more days off".

Jonas Jennings: Starting LT Jonas Jennings took a boot to his coconut and sustained a concussion. He was down on the field for at least 5 minutes (it felt like a half hour for those of us in attendance). Look for him to hang out on the sidelines with Henry.

Travis Brown: The third string QB suffered the most serious injury on Saturday. He dislocated his middle finger (what will he do in traffic?) and is scheduled to have a pin inserted tomorrow. The Bills re-signed recent cut Jason Johnson in order to have three live arms for practice. Brown is out indefinitely, and we should know more tomorrow.

Expect AVP to get three quarters of action based on the Brown injury, with Johnson mopping up before harsh reality crashes back down and he heads back to the Circuit City Service Department.
