Bills Cut Five (Wizbang Sports)

The Bills cut five players today, including free agent signee James Jett, to get to a roster of seventy active players. The roster must be down to 65 active players tomorrow.

The only surprise here is Driver, but even had had dropped steadily down the depth chart. The signing of Izell Reese, Chad Cota, and then Jerton Evans certainly were bad signs for the third year safety. His fate may have been sealed during Saturdays Rams game when he muffed his only kick return opportunity.

I would not be surprised if the Bills tried to sneak Ahmad Brooks back on to the practice squad later. Just can't have enough depth at corner.
